This Love ~ by Arem
At a Conference in 1995, I sat with Joyce. Joyce was filled with Divine Love. As she spoke, her faced glowed with Joy. She asked me about my view of God. I spoke that God, to me, is the Reality of Love and nothing but Love.
After reflecting on the conversation with Joyce, following the conference I summarized in writing what I had meant.
I have only a teaching of Love. In fact, I cannot choose to introduce anything into my thinking about Spirit that is not, as best I understand, Love. For when one re-becomes One with this Love, only Love admits Love into Love in an ongoing dance with Love.
That is one sign of Union-with-Love: You can no longer introduce other than Love into your perspective of Truth. Otherwise, a person is yet to re-become Oned-with-Love, though he or she might have had encounters with and experiences of this Reality. And in this Union-within-Love, you have passed beyond the choice to Love, for Love does not choose to Love, for Love has no inherent need to choose to be Itself. Love as a noun - as Being Itself - becomes unified in your thought and action through Love as a verb - Loving.
You become Love Loving, through the Grace of Love Itself. You sense not that you have acquired, earned, or developed Love, but that you have been given Love and chosen to Love for the Beloved, for everyone. Then, you truly know this is something done in and through you, not by you in yourself. This is Love, this is Love Loving.
